Hummingbirds are really amazing; in the few times I have seen them in person I am always surprised at how fast they move.

Finally finished this poster-sized piece! I assembled the background hills by hand, using layers of fabric and hundreds (thousands? who knows) of stitches. I'm planning to have this printed 18"x24" for the show next month- can't wait to see how it'll look!
The tufted titmouse is a small songbird from North America. Their song is usually described as a whistled peter-peter-peter.
