Packaging prints!
Hello, friends! Hope your holidays have been lovely. I wanted to quickly share with you my process for packaging up orders from my Etsy shop.
Here’s one of my prints (signed in the corner!) packaged in a clear acid-free sleeve.
I slip one of these “About the Artist” cards in the back of the protective sleeve, just a little info and a way to get in touch with me later.
I always write up a little note on my beloved cursive typewriter. It took me two years to find this one!
And here is everything tied up together in a bit of lace trim. I usually include a little extra surprise, like one of my postcards, just as an extra thank-you for supporting me!

Thank you Alicia! I love that typewriter; I didn’t even know they existed until I got to use one very briefly one summer. After that I knew I had to have one of my own! Ended up finding this one on ebay. :)

This is so great. I can’t wait for my pocketbook to recover from Christmas so I can get something (or things) from you! One of the things I love about Etsy is that so many of the vendors truly understand the art of good packaging, which means when you receive your order it’s like getting two presents! BTW–I’m planning to give you a shout-out on my blog, which I’ll hopefully get to tonight or tomorrow.

[...] how can you resist sweet when it doesn’t come with all those pesky calories? Also, check out this blog post by Miss Alli herself, which shows just how your print will arrive at your mailbox. [...]
